The house is located in a beautiful countryside location but benefits from being very near to anything you could possibly need and just 2 minutes drive from the Highway.  In the neighbouring village of Zygi, (2 mins away) there is a bank, clothes shop, a shoe shop, a petrol station, a butchers, a bakers, a pharmacy, a beauty salon, a large Supermarket and of course a few of lovely fish tavernas right on the Mediterranean sea.

Neighbouring the village the other side, Maroni is located, which has popular Tavernas, a post office, supermarket and other shops and groups such as the Maroni Art Group and Garden Club and has a Newsletter (the Maroni News) which lets you know of things going on in the area and reliable services that you may need.

In Psematismenos itself, there is an Ancient Olive Tree site, a Natural Vegetation Park and a local Church for the Community, along with a lovely Cypriot taverna.

Very nearby are the beautiful beaches of Maroni, Zygi and of course Governors Beach with lots of lovely Tavernas. In Skarinou there is a Taverna and a very large Alfamega Supermarket and drive in McDonalds Restaurant with a McCafe.

In these villages there is a high percentage of British expats who have a good social life.
